Matteo Castellani appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Polytec S.p.A.

BM Group Holding strengthens its leadership structure and corporate governance by appointing internationally experienced executive Matteo Castellani to lead Polytec. Francesco Bettoni will focus on the Holding’s strategic development while continuing as Chief Executive Officer of BM Group Holding.

Borgo Chiese, August 6, 2026 – BM Group Holding announces the appointment of Matteo Castellani as Chief Executive Officer of Polytec S.p.A., the Group’s leading operating company specializing in advanced automation, robotics and digitalization solutions for industry.
Castellani succeeds Francesco Bettoni, who is stepping down from the operational leadership of Polytec to fully dedicate himself to his role as Chief Executive Officer of BM Group Holding, where he will lead the Group’s growth strategy and accelerate the development of its new strategic business areas.
As Polytec continues its growth journey, Castellani’s appointment represents a natural step forward, bringing to the company an executive with extensive international experience in the metals industry. Throughout his career, he has held positions of increasing responsibility across the steel and aluminium sectors, gaining significant expertise in operational management and the execution of complex industrial projects. This background has provided him with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and the needs of leading global industrial players.

“We have chosen Matteo Castellani because he combines a deep understanding of industrial processes with outstanding strategic vision and operational leadership,” said Francesco Bettoni, Chief Executive Officer of BM Group Holding. “Today, Polytec is internationally recognized for its expertise in robotics and automation applied to complex industrial processes. We are confident that, under Matteo’s leadership, the company will further strengthen its market position. This appointment reflects our commitment to reinforcing the Group’s governance with highly qualified executives capable of driving the growth of each company while enhancing their technological expertise, specialization and international presence.”

In addition to serving as Chief Executive Officer, Matteo Castellani will also assume the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Polytec S.p.A., leading the company through the next phase of growth outlined by the Group.

“Leading Polytec is both a great responsibility and an extraordinary opportunity,” said Matteo Castellani. “I chose to join Polytec because I found a company with a clear industrial vision, a strong corporate culture and values that closely reflect my own approach to leadership and business, all supported by a genuine commitment to innovation. Our goal will be to consolidate our leadership in our traditional markets, particularly within the metals industry, while accelerating international growth by bringing Polytec’s expertise to new markets and new industrial applications. Ultimately, our mission is to meet the evolving needs of industry through the most advanced technological solutions available.

Among the sectors in which Polytec has established an international leadership position is the steel industry, where the company has installed more than 400 robotic systems. These solutions integrate entire production processes, with a particular focus on molten metal operations, where the primary objectives are to enhance operator safety, improve process reliability and ensure production continuity.

Castellani’s appointment forms part of BM Group Holding’s broader growth strategy, aimed at further expanding the Group’s presence across Europe, North America, South America and the Middle East. At the same time, the Group will continue investing in strategic acquisitions to provide global industry with an increasingly comprehensive and specialized technology portfolio.
