PolyCAST is a smart multitool robotic solution designed to automate critical operations on the continuous casting floor, improving operator safety, process reliability, and production efficiency.
Using advanced 3D machine vision, the robot accurately identifies the nozzle position and autonomously performs multiple operations, including ladle shroud positioning, nozzle oxygen lancing in case of blockage, steel temperature measurement and sampling, as well as tundish powder distribution. Each system is fully engineered to match the customer’s process requirements and available plant layout.
