System description

PolyDESLAGGING is an advanced robotic solution designed to automate slag removal from the Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) before tapping. Equipped with a custom-designed, water-cooled tool and an advanced vision system, the robot accurately removes slag while providing the operator with a real-time view of the steel bath.
The system can operate in both automatic and operator-assisted manual modes, ensuring maximum flexibility while improving safety, process consistency, and furnace productivity in the most demanding steelmaking environments.
