The automatic EAF sampling and measurement robot, PolySAMPLE EAF, is a smart full automatic solution for sampling and measurement in the EAF.
The system is able to perform complex trajectory based on the space available, can be automatically loaded from a dispenser with multiple type of cartridges, can have multiple tools for backup on expand the functionalities, can precisely measure the bath level, can separate and send the steel sample directly to the laboratory.
Adabtable to different plant layout, it automates repetitive and reliable trajectory and speed, automatic charging of cartridges from dispenser, backup lance, precise bath level measurement using the robots coordinates.
The robot can also be equipped with a lance, developed by Tenova & Polytec, with a camera able to perform the internal inspection of the EAF furnace.
